Welcome! You've found your way to the home for the St. Francis Twenties and Thirties ministry (TNT). One of the primary goals of TNT is the formation of a community of younger Catholics, from recent high school graduates through those in their twenties and thirties, including singles, couples, and young parents. We hope that this community will help its members grow by providing social, service, and faith formation opportunities with similarly-aged Catholics. On this page, you will find information about our upcoming events as well as other opportunities in the area.

New Stuff

Apologies for the lack of updates recently! We'll try to keep things more up-to-date during the summer.
Added many events on the calendar -- Singles Mingle, a planning meeting, a hiking trip, and the TNT-sponsored Theology on Tap South.
Some events don't have dates yet, so they are only in the events section -- a trip to King's Island, a camping trip, and a series of movie nights.

At the November "Faith & Film" event, Richard Drabik lead a wonderful discussion about the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness." Some members have asked to get a copy of the reflection that he used, so we've posted it here.

Second Saturday Events

We've decided to schedule a regularly-occurring dinner/social event on the second Saturday of every month. These events will generally start at 6:30 pm, with specific locations to be announced on a month-to-month basis. Also, we would like TNT members to volunteer to organize Second Saturday events -- whether it is a party, a dinner at a restaurant, etc. If you would like to help, please send us an e-mail at saintfrancistnt@gmail.com. Currently announced Second Saturday events include:

April 12 -- Easter Potluck, All Saint's Room, 6:30pm. Contact Sarah Bingcang if you can bring a dish.
May 10 -- Tentatively scheduled cookout, details TBA
June 14 -- Event TBA
July 12 -- Summer social -- Meet outside St. Francis after the 5pm Mass
August 9 -- Summer social -- Meet outside St. Francis after the 5pm Mass

TNT Retreat -- April 5th

Take some time out of your hectic schedule and come join us for a day of reflection on "Living Your Faith in Today's Society." The one day retreat will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Saturday, April 5th, 2008 starting at 10:30 AM. We will meet in the JP II room. Session topics will include vocations: how to find it and live it, prayer: contemplative and charismatic, the Mass, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The retreat will conclude with 5 PM Mass and dinner. Contact Carrie for more information.

Singles Mingle -- Friday, April 25th

An event for singles will be held on Friday, April 25th at the Fox and Hound on
SR 725 in Centerville. Contact Catherine for more information.

Hiking -- Sunday, May 18th

A hiking trip will be held on Sunday, May 18th after the 11AM Mass.

Planning Meeting-- Sunday, June 1

A TNT Planning meeting will be held on Sunday, June 1 after the 11AM Mass.

King's Island -- Sunday in June (Date TBA)

A day trip to King's Island will be held on a Sunday in June.

Theology on Tap South -- Thursday, July 10. 17, 24, and 31

St. Francis TNT, along with several other south Dayton parishes, is sponsoring four-week session of Theology on Tap in July. Sessions will be held at the Fox and Hound on SR 275 in Centerville. Topics will be posted as soon as they are available. Contact Lydia for more information.

Overnight Camping Trip -- August (Date TBA)

An overnight camping trip will be held in August.
